"Great couples getaway. The deck with fantastic mountain view sunsets and hot tub made for a memorable stay. Place was cozy and well maintained and right size for a couple. Only nitpicks were the spiderwebs on deck fencing and a couple of blinds that need replacing. "

"We had a lovely stay! It was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We loved sitting in the hot tub and doing the on property hikes to the waterfall. Convenient location for dining in Carmel and exploring the ocean look out points and Point Lobos. Highly recommend! "
"The River House is as advertised, well appointed, clean, comfortable beds, peaceful with a hot tube and the sound of a river which you can walk down too. It was much further away in terms of time than I expected. Although not too far in terms of distance, the road to the house is VERY twisty, and since we were in a rental car, took it slowly, easily taking an hour or more to and from Monterey. That was a big chunk of the day. "
