"Room was clean but wasn’t re-stocked with regular coffee pods. However good coffee was only a few steps away on same floor for breakfast. Staff was friendly. Overall a 4 out of 5 stars"

"the only reason I stayed here was its proximity to Texas State and pricing was lower than other hotels in the area. the place needs a refresh. the window treatments in my room were old and torn, the room smelled really musty. Overall, the room just didn't feel clean. the bedding was very thin and old. I will say the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze."

"Worst Hotel I’ve stayed at in over 10 years. I knew I’d be staying simply just to catch up on some sleep for my 14 year old and I breaking up a 12 hour drive. Nobody was at front desk and I had to call for help. Got to a hot room that smelled horrendous and the condition was disgusting, but we were extremely tired. Looked at our thermostat which was dated 1973, so it was clear why it was so hot (this is in Texas too). Shower was covered in mold, we refused to use it. Toiled had marks from prior guest. Fridge had spill marks all down the sides. This place was disgusting. I feel duped by the Expedia reviews. I was just so tired to try and fight to leave. We went to go eat and when we returned ask the guy if we could check out at noon and were told it would be $25 more!!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! They do that in Vegas! But for that dump!! The breakfast was gross. Whoever said it was great must like instant eggs and plastic wrap bread without a toaster. The only good thing they had was the waffles that most places have you make yourself. On the way out, I glanced at the tiny green pool. Be warned, do not stay here!!!"
