Our kids absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for us as a family.The best part was definitely the wood‑burning fireplace — it was amazing and kept the entire house cozy and comfortable. Sitting by the fire in the evening made the place feel extra special.Overall, a lovely and relaxing stay. We would happily come back again."

"The room was clean and had a view of the lake. The bed was comfortable. While the hotel is basic, I don't think it deserves the reviews it has received. It is a good, clean, comfortable stay. The price is more than I would expect in the city because it is in the middle of the South Island in a Dark Sky area, which adds costs."
