"Stay at the property from July 6-9 2025. The room was clean and the area was safe. New property owner was friendly and welcoming. The only problem was the internet/wifi which in time will be fixed. Recommend property when staying and wanting to explore Lake Tekapo."

Carnegies and Fairlie Bakehouse were culinary highlights of the trip. Great food and service.

Nice quiet town. Friendly people. Good shops. Best pies ever at the Bakehouse bakery. Close to Tekapo springs and much nicer to stay than commercialised Tekapo, which at the time was undergoing lakefront construction work.
