5/5 - Excellent
A lovely little town. The pies at Fairlie Bakery absolutely delicious. Don’t leave town without trying! They certainly lived up to their reputation

Very comfortable with full kitchen

Old hotel built in 1880s, large rooms, warm and with character in need of some redecorating but good value for price

Clean. Had everything we needed. Bathroom big enough. Good towels. Comfy bed. Glass sliding door to unit, would be helpful to have screen door as a hot afternoon felt a bit exposed leavings door wide open. Quiet, even though on main road. Short drive to pubs and bakery. Would recommend.

Really nice property and was bigger then we anticipated.

Great house, very warm and cozy, great location. Beds a bit hard after skiing, but that may be due to age (of people!).

Perfect stop over for our trip - we wandered around town, and loved the history notes on the windows of stores. Friendly town.
Great friendly little town.
This is the first time we have stayed in Fairlie. We usually do day rides on our motorcycle. We always enjoy our stop in Fairlie.
Carnegies and Fairlie Bakehouse were culinary highlights of the trip. Great food and service.
Nice quiet town. Friendly people. Good shops. Best pies ever at the Bakehouse bakery. Close to Tekapo springs and much nicer to stay than commercialised Tekapo, which at the time was undergoing lakefront construction work.
