This home was the perfect place for our family as we ventured into the Redwoods for the first time. It is very spacious, clean and situated in a convenient and quiet area. We would absolutely stay here again!
The house was as it appeared in the photos and the beds and couch were very comfortable. We had guests for dinner one evening but there weren’t enough chairs for our guests. Other than that the home was lovely and perfect for our getaway.
The stay was perfect. The house was just as described, very clean, every amenity that was advertised was there. Ample bathrooms, large bedrooms. Check in process was easy, and no ridiculous cleaning checklist for checkout. I do wish there had been clearer instructions for trash/recycling/compost, but no big deal. The couches are a bit too cushy and my older father had a tough time getting up from sitting. Otherwise fantastic!
We loved this house. It was perfect for our family of 5 adults. The floor plan allowed for plenty of space, both in the living space for gathering and lots of privacy w/bedrooms and bathrooms. It was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet. We highly recommend and would stay again!
Just a tiny bit confusing to find based on online maps, but it is part of duplex/combined address, so when you see the first sign, you know you're close!
We stayed here as a home base as we explored the redwoods. The home was clean, large and had everything we needed. I would recommend

April 17-20 Stay
House was a great size and fit our needs. Kitchen was a little sparsely equipped and could definitely use more forks!Dishwasher did not work, we ran it twice and the soap pod never dissolved.Couches could use some new cushions; we all sank in and it was hard to get up out of the couch, especially the 80-year olds we had with us. Other than that, great trip, thank you!
Over all not bad here’s the pros and cons.Cons: sofas are broken down and uncomfortable to sit in, the mattresses are uncomfortable to sleep on, most of the outs and pans are scorched beyond usefulness and the address is not posted on the street so it was not easy to find.Pros: Check in was easy and the house was emaculatly clean. I wore white socks on the floor The whole time I was there and they stayed white. The neighborhood is nice and area is beautiful.
Extremely comfortable, clean, well maintained and spacious house for 5 retired men on a Humboldt Bay halibut fishing vacation. Check-in process was efficient and easy. Property owner very responsive to texts.Couple of issues that should be addressed.1. Gas stove burners do not automatically ignite. Had to use a hand held lighter to ignite burners.2. Outdoor propane grill is very rickety/falling apart.3. Some upstairs windows are missing screens. Would have liked to leave those windows open for cooling/ventilation but feared insects would fly into house. All in all a great property that I would not hesitate staying at again!

Mckinleyville review
Check in was easy and the place was clean. What they don't list is that the house has an apartment attached. While this was no problem, it did cause confusion. Do NOT run the dishwasher while downstairs. It was amazingly loud. We used the oven one time and the smoke alarms immediately went off (oven needs cleaning). This place suited our needs and the 3 full baths were nice to have. Could not find the garbage cans so we bagged our trash and left it it the garage. Bring your own dish rags and you will be set!
