"When we walked in, the lady at the front desk (Bonnie?) was very welcoming and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean. The pool and hot tub and gym were perfect for our family. I used the lovely office area to get some business done on one of the computers. Internet access was easy. Of all the hotels we had been to on our summer road trip, your hotel had the best breakfast and the sweetest chef who helped with food choice and also with planning a great day at the beach and dunes. Your coffee was delicious too! Your hotel is outstanding and we are super grateful for you. Thank you! "

"Excellent location to Cal Poly Humboldt. As well as stores and restaurants in McKinleyville. Nice amenities.Very dog friendly, they even had dog poop bags, such a nice touch. We could park in the garage, which we loved. Definitely will stay here again."

"This property is beautiful from inside out. You can sit outside,and relax with a gorgeous view. Inside, it's very well stocked. We like to cook on our vacations and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The house is very clean, and very well decorated. Feels warm and very welcoming.If you value privacy, this may be a tough fit simply because how close you are to the owner's property as you can see them at all times and they can see you as they're walking around right in front of it. We went to the redwoods multiple times and the surrounding areas are breath taking. We ate once at 6 rivers brewery which is super close to the property. Also, almost forgot but the main shower in the main bedroom did not work. Overall we had a great stay and highly recommend this property. "
