"I was able to check in online the night before our arrival which made it very fast at the desk when we arrived. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and cheerful! This property is well maintained and has a lovely outdoor pool. The room was very spacious and the two queen beds were comfortable! There is a vaulted wood ceiling with beams also. Good sized tv. We would definitely stay here again. "

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brockville by IHG

"Great property! Pool was great and clean, rooms were clean and as expected. We had a two bed queen suite which also had a pull out couch. Would be reallt neat if there was a room divider between pull out couch and queen beds. It was almost like it was made for it with two tvs in rhe room."

"We stayed for the Tall Ship Festival and the location was great. Shuttle straight from the hotel is an excellent bonus. Breakfast was good but small things would have madenit great. Coffee was very weak and there was no cream. Had to take milk from cereal pitcher as no milk for coffee was provided. Apples were not fresh and we were told they were "sold out" of yogurt with breakfast still available for another 2 hours. These small issues did not by any means ruin our stay though. Beds were very comfortable and I really liked the bathroom products. I look forward to staying here again when I am back in the area. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage has a beautiful open concept living/dining room and kitchen with lots of windows to admire the view of the lake. The kitchen has everything you need. All three bedrooms are similar in size with comfortable beds. The owner always responded quickly. I strongly recommend. "

"Beautiful property and very friendly helpful hosts… there’s so much wildlife, Barred owls and loons were calling at night, chipmunks everywhere, turtles and herons. The cottage is quite rustic, a typical family cottage with wonky linoleum and unfinished ceiling but we consider that charming - the place smelled nice and was impeccably clean, and the bed was very comfortable - we especially enjoyed sitting out on the screened deck playing board games. Also appreciate having all linens and supplies provided, so it felt a bit like a camping holiday with all the amenities on hand and no prep needed. Nice privacy with a large old children’s camp mess hall separating the cottage from the owner’s home. We really enjoyed our stay! "
