"Hotel Kenney Rideau shines by its friendly and wonderfully helpful staff and it's incredible food menu! We felt very welcome, as if we had known them for years. Their evening and brunch menus are very generous and of incredible quality. Certain rooms are showing their age but they are a work in progress. We were nonetheless very comfortable and would go again."

"Great budget hotel. Two things, there is no elevator, so if you have any physical impairments, maybe not your place. Also, no coffee maker in room, though I presume you could probably ask for one. Otherwise, modern and fine for a night or two. Located by all fastfood and a grocery store right off 401."
"Immaculately clean little cottage overlooking beautiful Charleston Lake. Very basic in its decor and furnishings, but we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It was reassuring to know that Greg was nearby if we had any issues (though we didn't need him for anything at all.) The beds were very comfortable! The weather didn't cooperate for us to fully enjoy all the amenities (including the fire pit and free use of the pass to the nearby Provincial park) but our cottage was a centrally located home base while we explored Kingston, Gananoque, Perth, and other nearby places. Sitting out on the front deck was both relaxing and entertaining - birds and wildlife are abundant, and the site is otherwise generally quiet (but not too remote.)"
