In Giarre, it is also possible to rent bicycles to explore the neighbouring municipalities.
In less than 10 minutes by car, it is also possible to reach Riposto, famous for its tourist port, from which boat or caique excursions depart, with lunch on board and a stop for a swim in the sea.
From Mascali, it is also easy to reach the towns on the eastern slope of Etna, such as Sant'Alfio and Zafferana, particularly popular in the summer season.
