"Wow. Did not expect such a grand hotel in a small town. The room was bright and spacious. Lobby area and breakfast area were clean and welcoming. Staff went out of their way to get me a hot cocoa. My only complaint would be that they could easily fit (2) Kings instead of double beds inside the rooms. Location was beautiful, right on the river and the downtown is only about a 15 min walk away. "

"Place was very clean-this is at the top of my list for importance in rentals. Super cute little place. Nice deck in back with seating. Quick two minute walk to river! Hosts were AWESOME. I cannot emphasize this enough. Fantastic communication, very kind. "I can't say enough good things about our stay here at the Hardy Lake House. It was clean, plenty of amenities and just felt perfectly nestled into the woods for a secluded hideaway. The host is absolutely one of the second-best parts of the experience. Having had a few things not go according to my plans he was extremely accommodating, and his generosity is hard to find in this quickly changing world.
