"The house was better than the listing could have described. Perfectly clean and very well stocked with no details left out. Outdoor area was great and better than the pictures show. Full outdoor sectional, bar, refrigerator, fire pit and dinner table downstairs. As well as a separate dinner table outdoors upstairs. There were paddle boards, kayaks, a canoe, and a peddle boat. The interior of the house was great. Air conditioning was good and cold after a sunny day at the beach. Great house I could not ask for more and will definitely stay again."

"We loved our stay at Grey's Digger! We could walk to the beach but preferred to drive so we could carry all necessary items for the day! There were an abundance of things to do around the area. Every day we saw the horses walking along the ocean. We will definitely be back"

"Absolutely incredible rental!! The cleanliness of the rental was impeccable. Just a short drive or walk to the beach for anyone who wants to spend a significant amount of time on the beach. The yard itself is cozy and offers comfortable areas to relax with the addition of the patio. Additionally, the host was quick to respond to any questions, as well as showed genuine care that renters enjoy their time. We cannot wait to return next year!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect house for our little family of four. The short walk or drive to the beach was spectacular. My oldest daughter really enjoyed the swing and treehouse. Communication with the host was excellent! 10/10 would recommend! Hopefully can book again in the future!"

"The house is in a beautiful location! But it requires a 8 mile drive on the beach to get to it. We arrived at high tide so it was a pretty crazy drive! Wild horses every where on the beach along the way. It’s absolutely amazing! The house is great for large groups. Huge kitchen and plenty of seating makes it perfect. 12 bedrooms, 10 with en-suite bathroom was perfect. The pool was used everyday and the little ones loved the baby pool. My cons on the house were that there was absolutely no instructions for handling anything at the house. So we had to just figure stuff out. Communication with the host was horrible!! I messaged him several times before arriving with questions and always had to follow up to get a response. I messaged him the day we arrived with a bunch of questions and never got a response back. There was absolutely nothing in the house when we arrived. No toilet paper or paper towels. We had to immediately go back out to town to get some basic provisions. I find that odd and different than my rentals I have stayed in. We couldn’t figure out how to get the media room working and again no instructions could be found.All in all I would definitely go to Outer Banks again and Wild Horse Beach was amazing!!"

"Very clean and well stocked property. We enjoyed the seclusion along with a nice fire in the fire pit by the sound. We had horses visit most mornings on and around the cottage. Would definitely stay again."

"Tracy’s recommendations for things to do and directions about getting on and off the beach were great! (Definitely follow his guidance vs google maps which takes you over a more challenging dune). The house was amazing and fit our group of 14 phenomenally. The kitchen is well equipped for just about anything you may need. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and cinema. The pool can get pretty sandy with the wind, but Tracy is very responsive if needed! Remember toiletries! We had kiddos with us and didn’t pack any so it made for an awkward first hour while some of them patiently waited for the Food Lion run before using the bathroom. Lots of sand toys and a few boogie boards which helped entertain everyone without having to lug things in. The horses love the backyard. We had rain the first couple of days and didn’t see any, but by the end the horses were in the yard several times a day. They can be curious so remember the 50 ft rule. The ability to disconnect and enjoy the simple things was unlike any other vacation we’ve taken. Even my teenagers were boogie boarding and flying kites. We spent hours on the beach with no one else within 1000ft of us! Highly recommend!"
