Fantastic Waterfront Stay!We had an amazing time at this Corolla Beach property. Check-in was super easy, the home was spotless, and everything inside felt high-end and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen and bathrooms were especially impressive. Loved waking up to the water views — truly a relaxing and luxurious stay. Highly recommend!

Anniversary getaway

This is our second time staying here! And we will be booking again for September. We absolutely love it here, the peace, seclusion, 4x4 adventures and nature is everything our soul needs to reboot. The house has everything you need and makes you feel like you are at home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the River otters play. My husband caught some bass and crabs in the canal outback. The horses are a beautiful bonus watching them in the wild.

Amazing stay!

Everything about the cottage was perfect. We loved seeing the wild horses and driving to the beach. The cottage has everything you’ll need and communication with the host was excellent. Can’t wait to return!

Tranquil get away

Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Beautiful, clean and quiet property with everything you need to have a perfect stay on 4x4 beach. And the horses off the balcony almost every morning were breath taking. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Definitely would recommend this place.

Super cute little cottage

Super cute little cottage on the calm waters connected to the sound. Very well stocked kitchen and comfy furnishings. Check the tides and the weather coming in/out! Can be quite the adventure. Surprisingly good internet and cell service was nice on a rainy day. And yes, wild horses are all around!

Peaceful paradise

This was our second time at Sherry & Jeff cottage! We love being there, the cleaning and well stocked place it is a bonus! Lots of amenities that make you feel like in your own home. We are planning to return next year. Thank you both for having us!

Loved this place

Was an amazing place to stay. Was happy to find space above the coffee station to put our goodies. House was stocked with everything we needed to cook in. Horses came every day and even blocked the stairs. It was super fun to be in their presence though. Everything about this stay was magical! Thank you!

Property is beautiful, all amenities were there, convienient to the beach in acception of some deep pots lof water on the road to get in and out of the property, 4x4 a must! Owners (Sherry) were very helpful and willing to do what ever it took to accommodate. 9 mile stretch of beach to get to the property was a bit challenging again 4x4 a must. We loved our stay...helpfu

Perfect cottage stay

We were pleasantly surprised at how much they had in this house to make it feel exactly like home! We didn’t have to pack over half the stuff we packed because of how stocked this home is! It’s very cozy and CLEAN!! My kids were on the canal every day multiple times on paddle boards, kayak and pedal boat they had there. I am a travel agent and will be recommending my clients to this home 100%. The owner is very responsive and sweet also.

Absolutely Enchanting

This is our first time staying at Sherry & Jeff cottage and we are anticipating to come back soon. The cottage was cozy, super clean, very well equipped with everything you can think of, indoor and outdoor, very nice decorated, quiet, relaxing it was the perfect place to escape from reality. Located on the canal the views are amazing. We couldn’t enjoyed the company of the mustang this time but hopefully we can get to see them when we come back. Thank you Sherry & Jeff for sharing this piece of heaven with us.

Anniversary trip

Wow wow wow!!! The property location was amazing! so much wildlife just doing their thing. My husband enjoyed fishing in the sound while I enjoyed the views and the bird’s singing, very peaceful, private and secluded. The Horses greeted us on our first day at the home and said their farewells on our last day. We had so much fun 4x4 on the beach and just driving around looking at all the beautiful horses. Our most memorable experience of our vacation was the night we drove on the beach and we saw a lone horse just walking along the ocean’s edge. Such a magical majestic moment to witness! Thank you to Sherry and Jeff for sharing your charming cottage with us! This vacation will be hard to top!

Piece of heaven on the 4X4

Amazing place, the horses were around or on the property nearly every day! Lots of other wildlife as well. This cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay, all of the comforts of home! Sherry and Jeff are great hosts, we came in during a tropical storm and they were super flexible, allowing us in early for low tide. Each trip to and from the house is an adventure! Lots to do both on and off the property. Spotless clean and comfortable and just enough space for the 4 of us. Off the beaten path but so worth it!! We will return! There is nothing like Carova. Thank you for the personal touch with the anniversary wine. This was an incredible opportunity to make amazing memories!

EXCELLENT!!!!!

The home is exactly as pictured, and offers EvErYtHiNg.. down to the little things you'll forget to pack! The appliances are top of the line. The fridge is spacious as well as the freezer. We did utilize our cooler as well, because we packed for four people. The beds are very comfy Sleep Numbers! We truly appreciated that after paddle boarding and peddle boating all day. Both rooms offer a tv, as well. The water pressure in the shower was Excellent, as well as the outdoor shower.. which was very convenient after being on the beach all day! We are the type of people who usually go out to eat while on vacation, but for the first time on vacation, NONE of us wanted to leave! This place is that much of a TREAT! Waking up, brewing coffee from the breakfast bar and sitting outside to sip our coffee and take in the view of the horses, water, and birds was a delight! The tree swings were pretty neat and relaxing at the same time..kind of brought out the kid in us! We also enjoyed a night with the bonfire pit. :) The communication was Exceptional. The house was CLEAN!! The towels even came sanitized in their own protective wrapping.. each wrap consisted of 2 bath towels, a hand towel, and a wash cloth; and, there were PLENTY of sets provided. We also enjoyed the LARGE selection of games. Every night was game night!! The 4 of us could just not stop talking about how GREAT this place truly is! We'll DEFINITELY book again for next year..but we will ADD a few more days next time!!

This house was everything I hoped for. It was so well thought out, small, but charming and completely appointed with everything you need. Clean, cute, comfortable. And the host is so quick to respond anytime we had a question. We definitely want to return. We were there 4 days and did not even get to do all of the things we would like to. The horses came by almost every day. I would recommend this Cozy cottage off the beaten path anytime to anyone.

Little Slice of Heaven!

Pulling into the property we were greeted by a beautiful blue heron gracing the dock! Wonderful grassy lawn with Adirondack chairs, fire pit, tree swings, and gorgeous view. Opened the doors to the home and instantly impressed! Very clean, felt new! There was a birthday gift waiting for my granddaughter!!! Very cozy, quaint, and homey feel! Even better than described!The horses came to visit and stayed for a long time! What a treat to watch them! Fully enjoyed the paddle boat and paddle board. Even caught crabs and catfish right off the dock!The weather was perfect our whole stay! At the beach we saw many dolphins, caught crabs, flew kites, fished (caught 3 sting rays!), found shells, played in the water and in the sand, and soaked up the sun and made lasting memories! We found our little slice of heaven at The Dew Drop!

Amazing house for our stay in Carova

We absolutely loved our stay at Dew Drop Inn. The house is adorably decorated, comfy and cozy, and had everything we needed and more- a well-stocked kitchen, cleaning supplies, grilling supplies, beach gear, and more. The outdoor areas were great with swings, fire pit, and seating area. The wrap around deck was probably my favorite and was our dog’s favorite too. We saw horses in the yard every day. We really enjoyed our stay and the house was the perfect place to relax after spending the day on the beach. My only regret is not booking it for longer!! Thank you, Jeff and Sherry!!

This was a perfect spot. Two of our 3 children leave the nest this summer/fall, one to basic training and one to college, so we wanted a quiet spot w/ lots of opportunities for family fun and time together. This was perfect. We spent every waking moment out on the canal or in the yard. The SUPs & kayak were used daily. Our youngest was on the water every chance he got. We cooked every meal in the very well stocked kitchen. I made shrimp & grits, ceviche, fish tacos, steak & oysters, biscuits & gravy, every meal. We stopped at Seaside Market & bought fresh seafood. Amazing. The grill was great! A herd of 5 horses, inluding a very young filly, visited the yard twice. My daughter had to get out of the hammock & to the deck to maintain the madatory 50ft distance. They hung out for awhile then got into the canal for a while. We had an oprey hang out straight out early every morning, nutria swimming in the canal, a beautiful huge heron on the dock at the end of the canal. Very little boat traffic because of the perfect location of the property. The water around the dock was about waist deep for us. The house and property were beautiful and clean. We went to the beach several times. It was nice loading the truck & being able to drive straight to the water. No lugging big bags/ carts down to setup. Just pop the hatch and throw a tent up. Our dog loved everything about this vacation, too. Next time I'll bring more bottled/jugs of water.

The property was amazing and just as advertised. We came for the wild horses and were not disappointed as they appeared multiple times each day. Driving down the beach road was just so much fun to experience. It was the perfect get away for our family of four. Places to rest and relax, near the beach, and water activities in the back.

Charming Cottage

Our stay here was excellent! We enjoyed using the kayaks, trying a little fishing, and having a bonfire. The location of the cottage was perfect for spending the day on beach and then coming back to relax in the evening.

Relaxing retreat

This little piece of heaven was very relaxing. They had every amenity I could have wanted. The adventurous drive on the beach was new a different for us. Staying here we got to see horses right in the canal. Such a magical stay.
