"This was an excellent family friendly house for all ages!! It was beautiful and very functional. Games, beach toys, awesome hot tub and pool, and plenty of space for the 8 in our family to enjoy hours of fun. Exceptional host who helped us get there early due to high tides and responded quickly to any questions we had. This place felt like home!! I never sleep good on vacations and i slept like a baby every night!! Kitchen had everything we needed and we cook alot. We were thankful for all the towels and useful things around the house!! We highly recommend you stay here!"

"Renee provided an amazing stay! The house and location were very nice and peaceful. They were very respectful and had great communication. If we needed something they were quick to make sure we were helped. The house was very clean and the arcade games are an amazing added bonus. We were able to have fires as well as a short trip to the beach. The outdoor shower was super helpful especially with our dog. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to be close to the beach but have some additional privacy in the woods. They had a bunch of beach necessities and some added extra goodies waiting for us. "

"The house was located on a 4 x 4 only beach, which would have been fine if we had been informed prior to our arrival about the conditions to expect and the proper way to navigate them. We arrived after dark, during high tide, with inflated tires. We should have been told to watch the tide charts because the beach becomes impassable at high tide. We were not, and barely made it to our turn off because it was a shortly after high tide. We should have been told about letting the air out of the tires to make driving on the beach doable, which we were not. This resulted in us getting stuck in the sand and a costly towing bill. We were advised against driving the beach at night by the tow truck driver who said it was very dangerous if you were unfamiliar with the beach. There are many hazards that could have ruined our vehicle if we hit one, luckily we didn’t. The constant monitoring and worrying over high tide and our schedule made for a miserable trip. We were obviously not from the area and consider it negligent that the leasing company did not give us any information other than we needed a four wheel drive vehicle. "

"The Carte’s were extremely pleased with our stay for the 2025 Labor Day holiday. The house was amazing, clean and Phil was extremely helpful with answering our questions about the area. The best part of our trip was by far the wild horses and the seclusion of the Rusty Crab. We recommend booking a visit at this house and giving it a 10 out of 10!!!"
