The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The Villa Aloni exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality and facilities. We were looking for somewhere in "hidden Crete" and this property in Maza gave us a sense of rural remoteness but with access to the national road (and easy drives to Hania and Rethymnon) in 5 minutes. The villa was excellently equipped with every modern convenience (except a dishwasher which might have been an asset for a larger party). "I’d like to start by saying we loved our stay. I booked 3 villas next to each other and enjoyed having all our friends and families close to us for those 3 nights. We were allowed to host our private dinners on the villa with a team of private chef and servers. The location is not easily walked to town especially with little kids and elderly with us but for me it was perfect- beautiful views of the ocean, greenery, hills, out in the middle of nowhere but can reach the shops in just 2-5 min...

"This home was perfect for me and my family. It was my wife and I with our two kids and our parents. So having the two attached villas right next to each other was ideal. Tons of space and bedrooms for everyone! - The two plunge pools were great for cooling off and the views from all of the decks and terraces are better in person than in the pictures. Easy check in and check out with our crazy schedules. Highly recommend!!!"

"We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The service was excellent throughout, with friendly, attentive staff who were always available and made us feel genuinely well looked after. The food was a highlight. We had breakfast each morning and one evening meal, both of very good quality, with a wide selection and plenty of vegetarian and some vegan options. Breakfast wasn’t quite as hot as the evening meal, but was still very good. The restaurant itself is lovely, overlooking the pool. Our room was modern, clean and spacious, with a huge balcony, a lovely hot tub and a great second-floor view of the pool and sea. The bed was extremely comfortable and the lighting system was very useful. The pool area is beautiful, with plenty of space and no difficulty finding sunbeds. The beachfront location is a real highlight, with a gorgeous sandy beach and clear blue water. We even managed to get a cabana twice, free for guests of the hotel. The spa and indoor pool were also excellent. We both had massages, which were genuinely very good and better than many hotel spa treatments. The location is great, towards the end of the main strip but with restaurants and bars in every direction. The old town is around a 40-minute walk or 10-minute taxi ride away, and e-scooters & bikes are readily available nearby. We honestly have no negatives to mention, it is a fantastic hotel and an easy recommendation."

"The hotel catered for what you want. We came here thinking it was 5 star all inclusive but in fact it was more like a 4 star. You need to upgrade to get the branded alcohol, or water in bottles. It’s definitely geared towards alcohol. The food is good. There isn’t much to eat throughout the day in terms of snacks. Ice cream in tubs and homemade sandwiches. The pool is lovely and the views are fab. The vibe is nice. Hospitality is lovely and people enjoy themselves. The pool is the best part for me. Mr Marx at customer relations is fantastic. He is friendly, helpful and very personal. He takes an interest in you and remembers things you’ve spoken about and is really informative. All hotels should have someone like him. And he speaks 7 languages!!"
