"We have just returned from beautiful Crete and stayed in Suite 2 at Sarpidon Suites for 11 nights. It is the best private apartment we have ever stayed at! It was immaculately clean, very private, was in a brilliant central location and offered all the facilities we needed. "This was the perfect place to stay. It was quiet but not empty with the pool bar helping all of your needs. The staff are a nice family and so helpful. I fell ill one night and the amazing man behind the pool bar brought me aspirin and got his father to bring a thermometer. The balcony was great for our cheap date night and the kids around the pool loves the pool toys almost as much as my boyfriend did."

The location is excellent and very close to 4 lovely beaches and some very nice restaurants. The fact that it's so close to Chania was a real bonus which we made the most of. We booked as a short-term option as we had a few days before friends arrived and we moved to a villa - & were pleasantly impressed by how nice this place was. We had the three bedroom 'villa' but the 2 bedroom apts looked nice too. The pool was great & the bar was easy going & good value"

"We’ve stayed at Samaria Hotel on many occasions and find it quite charming each visit… The staff are very friendly, often going above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful… The pool is a great asset, alongside the on-site enclosed parking area… A block away from the main port of Chania so no need for a car in the evenings if you’re staying close by… Overall a wonderful hotel, with a wonderful location!
