"This was the most amazing place!! Everything was beyond our expectations and was definitely first class!! The heated floor in the bathroom, the night light which comes on when you're trying to find your way to the bathroom at night, the nice robes, the teas and coffees and the most amazing breakfast. I highly recommend staying here if you're ever on the South Island of New Zealand!!"

"We loved everything about this Bookabach - the hosts were warm and welcoming, the quiet and peaceful location was beautiful, we hiked along the river bank to the lake (and back) and grabbed brunch at a fabulous cafe "On the Spot". The studio was spotless, with fresh flowers and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely cottage of ideal size for us but could sleep 8 by including the cottage out the back.Lake view was beautiful as was the walk along the lake.Short walk to the shops .Lovely and warm, and ideally set up. penty of crockery, cutlery etcLoved it and would return."

"Not truly lakefront but a very short walk. Comfortable and cosy, everything worked, nice touches (tea station, fresh flowers) and the area is STUNNING"

"We enjoyed our 5 day stay in this cute, cozy bach! We had everything we needed for cooking, the bedding was very comfortable and we all slept well here. Beautiful scenery can be viewed right outside every window. The hosts were responsive, although we had no issues come up. We even had a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers on arrival. The lavender and honeysuckle bushes lining the entrance were an added fragrant treat. "
