Top Makarora Hotel Reviews

Hawea Haven

10/10 Excellent

"Good location with lovely views of the mountains. Very comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing stay."

Cosy Kiwi Bach with lake views | Close to ski fields | 1 minute walk to the lake

10/10 Excellent

"A traditional New Zealand bach near a lake, offering beautiful views from the window. It is situated in a quiet location and features a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for preparing meals."

Longview Luxe Retreat

10/10 Excellent

"The door handle needs to be pulled towards you when turning the key to open the door. When locking it the key needs to be turned anti clockwise before turning it clockwise in order to work. A bit of a faff; I had to ring the host to help gain access for the first time. Host arrived very quickly to assist. Bed is very firm and the pillows are not the best. Cutlery could do with replacing. Otherwise all good. "
