"Breakfast was fantastic. very neat and tidy place."

"Regarding the cost and overall quality of our stay, we found that the accommodations did not fully meet our expectations. The rooms appeared to be somewhat outdated, with older furniture. The restroom design was a bit unusual, with a single door serving both the toilet and the main entrance, which was unusual to us. The shower area was somewhat cramped and only separated by a curtain, and there was no hot water available at the wash basin. Additionally, the minibar offered only a limited selection of items at quite high prices. Besides the convenience of being within walking distance of the US consulate, most other aspects of the stay were average. "

"The hotel was a little tired looking, but this was made up for by the attitude of all the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and polite. The pool was lovely and clean as was its surrounding area, restaurant staff helped us with the different foods,and check in staff lovely."

"There are times when five stars just aren’t enough. Staying at the Leela Palace was one of them. This hotel is truly outstanding. We have seldom been made to feel quite so special as we did at the Leela Palace - and that is truly incredible from a large hotel. We have just completed a 12 week trip through Southern India and Sri Lanka and stayed in some wonderful hotels. My wife and i both consider the Leela not only the best on the trip, but one of the best we have ever stayed at. Staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely super friendly and every single one we met (and we engaged with a lot!) went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. It seems almost unfair to give special mentions given how lovely everyone was, but we would particularly like to thank the following Vishnu - the sommelier who introduced us to Grover Shiraz (Vijay Amritraj edition). Chandra and Kumar who looked after us at the pool Yasodha and Jeetu in the bar Vigneshwar, Kunal and Shaghul (plus Jayesh the sous-chef) in the restaurants Sonali and Shomali in Guest Relations. A massive thank you to the entire team at Leela - we flew out of Chennai with a very warm and happy feeling because of you. "
