Convenient stay

Great value for money. Location is excellent, close to rverything you need to know in Madrid. Metro station right in front. Staff is very friendly, and there are coffee shops and supermarkers within wslking distance. The room was simple and small, but clean and exactly what I expected.

Pros: Staff was nice and understanding. The room was quiet and clean, no complaints. It hostel is close to many highlights of the city Cons: I would have appreciated a water bottle in the room. The AC was functional but it was leaking. I had to move the bed.

This was a great property for us. We enjoyed being on the front of the building overlooking the plaza. Some might not appreciate the noise, but we found the spirit in the street as joyful & entertaining. Our room was basic but had the space we needed. The bathroom was really nice for a hotel in this price range. We had a mini-fridge. I would have like an electric tea kettle. Most of the staff was tremendous. The women we had the first day & most days was amazing. She helped with several needs/queries, incuding leaving our luggage after our early overseas flight. Her English was as good as mine. I had two curt encounters with a male staff. He was determined not to try to communicate, even when I tried broken Spanish. My 76 y.o. partner fell & gashed his leg. We asked for an extra pillow to elevate his leg. He pretended to have no idea what I was saying, until I pointed to a picture. He insisted there were no extra pillows in the entire building. The next day, I clearly saw two brand new pillows in the laundry room. BUT everything else about this modest hotel was sweet. Amazingly convenient to public transportation. Metro & bus stop immediately across the street. Bus service directly to train station, Place de Mayor, Puerto del Sol. Several pleasant restaurants on our plaza. Really pleased.

It is so loud down the hallway every time I person comes and goes. The sound is so loud from the bussing of the door. No sleep until 3 or 4 am due to this. Earplugs help but as I had an early wake up I needed to hear my alarm.

un séjour très agréable

J'avais réservé une petite chambre qui était très fonctionnelle avec une salle de bain privative. J'avais la possibilité de demander que le personnel fasse le ménage dans la chambre quand je le souhaitais, et la chambre était très propre et bien rangée à mon retour. Le service de réception a été très dévoué et prêt à rendre service en toute occasion, notamment pour la réservation d'un taxi pour le départ. Expérience très satisfaisante.

Very good value for money

This hotel is located in the heart of the city. It's very convenient to get to tourist locations by metro from the station immediately in front of the hotel or a short walk to the Sol plaza. The room was tidy and was cleaned every day when we visited. For the cost we paid for this trip with a friend, I am really not complaining.

Majoituspaikka ei ole aivan uutuuttaan hohtava ja huone on melko pieni, mutta jos ei anna näiden seikkojen haitata, sijainti on todella kätevä. Metroasema on aivan oven takana ja näköetäisyydellä on parikin ruokakauppaa ja ravintolaa. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä, vaikka kaikki eivät puhuneetkaan englantia paljoa. Olen tyytyväinen!
