Close walking to most everything. However, beware if you book this hostel room, the taxi will drop you off at the address and you will find a locked door and no instructions where the registration office is or map to it a few blocks away. Our luck, a guest was going in and we entered and used the buzzer the the main office. Same thing happened to another couple later that evening as we were going out and they had been standing at the door for a while. We took them to the offfice a few blocks away on a different street. This is not a new problem the owner wishes not to addree. A simple note and map at the door would solve this issue.

Perfectly nice and serviceable stay
The Hostal Anton Martin itself doesn't have a reception. You check in and have breakfast at the nearby Hostal Cervelo. The Anton Martin is clean, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The price was very reasonable for what you got. I would stay here again.

Checkin process is Mickey Mouse. Doorbell intercom connects to reception 3 blocks away. They say temporary till May’23. Outside looks bad. Inside new & modern. Room definitely small but well furnished, very clean and, during my stay, quiet. Jose at reception helpful & friendly. Would not repeat unless they have resident staff.

Hostal con una excelente localización, a pasos de la estación del metro Antón Martín, muy limpio, cómodo, tranquilo y seguro. Hay muy buenos restaurantes en las inmediaciones y está cercano a los principales museos de Madrid y a la Estación de Atocha. El check-in se hace en el Hostal Cervelo, a poca distancia.

Excellent renew place. Excellent location. Difficult to get the key because reception is not in the same location but very close. Buffet breakfast was good for 6 euros. I recommended it

Rooms are new and spotless but there is major construction happening in the building that can be loud at times. Check in and breakfast happen at a hotel around the block. Building smells strongly of cigarettes.

Great hostel stay
Excellent choice. Suite of rooms on 1 st floor. No lifts. But once y are booked in, it is very cozy and conveniently located. The staff all very friendlly.

A lovely " in the works" room on the second floor of a building being repurposed. No elevator yet but it is in the works. Modern furnishings, clean, and helpful staff. Note check in is about a 2 minute walk ftom the actual building.where you will be staying. Good buffet breakfast for just 6 euros. Many places to eat close by. Prado and botanical gardens close by. Several lovely churches well worth taking the time to visit.

Lo que menos me gustó es tener que ir a hacer el check in a otro hostal y que no hubiera ningún tipo de personal en el Anton Martin. El espacio de la habitación es muy escaso, la mesa es un mostrador no una mesa. La cama es grande y confortable asi como la ducha pero el baño olia a tubería de desagüe

No podría ni empezar a describir lo bueno de esta propiedad . Nos hicieron sentir como en casa . Jose en recepción es de las personas más empaticas y entregadas que he conocido a su trabajo. Terminamos quedándonos más tiempo y sentíamos literal que estábamos en casa . Habitaciones nuevas , limpias que no le piden nada a cualquier hotel . Un servicio de primera , nos guardaron el equipaje al dejar la habitación para hacer un pequeño viaje . Quiero agradecer muy especialmente a Jose Valente que se preocupa por los huéspedes como si fueran familia . También a Lili. De verdad es un lugar extraordinario . Superior a lo que hubiera imaginado .

Camera semplice ma pulita funzionsle e ben isolata acusticsmente. Nei dintorni tanti negozi e ristoranti oltre alla fermata della metro. In pochi minuti si arriva sia in centro che alla stazione dei treni. Ottima posizione

Excellent place!
Excellent place and great location. The attendant Jose was very polite and professional! The only problem we had was in the room 207 which bathroom was stinking a little bit probably because the plumbing was poorly constructed.

El personal es muy amable y están al pendiente en todo momento. El bufet que ofrecen en el desayuno es muy rico y variado, recomiendo reservar con esta opción incluida. La habitación es pequeña pero en general todo estuvo excelente.

Hostal en pleno centro, a un paso de todo. Muy buen estado, todo nuevo. La unica pega el wifi, no funciona muy bien y dentro de la habitacion no llega la señal del movil
