From the start of entering the hotel the attendant was amazing. She asked how is my visit and from where I’m visiting from. She even gave me recommendations and offered directions on the store I was attempting to visit but didn’t have much luck with gps. Such a welcoming and amazing experience. Now for the room the view was amazing and the bed was comfortable. Now for my favorite part I couldn’t fathom such an amazing view. I recommend this to anyone looking for a place to visit. You will be in the heart of Madrid.

Helpful staff, very central

Helpful and nice staff. The hostel is right in the city centre and it was quite noisy until very late. It is not allowed to flush toilet paper in the toilet and our toilet had some problems that it took time to fix. Otherwise nice and clean rooms.

Their Exito Madrid team. I am writing to share my disappointment regarding the hotel you are arrange it for us to request reimbursement. The wheel was located office floor, but the elevator was extremely small and old, making it impossible for me to reach the room. Because of this, I was unable to use the accommodation at all when my husband went to the reception to cancel the booking, the staff informed him that they could not help because they reservation had been made it through another company. This left us with no solution and caused unnecessary stress. Since the hotel was not usable for us, I kindly asked that you reimburse the amount I pay. I hope you can resolve this matter friendly, and ensure the future guests do not face similar the difficulties. Sincerely Maria Lopez.

Excellent location, friendly staff, coffee machine was amazing! The air conditioner leaked non-stop and we had to put a bowl and towls under it to catch the water. The shower overflowed evey time it was used and flooded the bathroom, but there was no floor drain, so we had to mop up with towels and placd a towel in the shower to stop the water from pouring out. It's an old building, so those types of inconveniences are to be expected, I share this not to voice disappointment, but to give solutions to avoid frustration.

Éxito en Madrid queda convenientemente localizado en plena Gran Vía con la estación Callao inmediatamente al lado. Es un edificio antiguo y actualmente se encuentra la fachada en remodelación, queda en un quinto piso y aunque tiene ascensor para llegar al quinto piso, no se encuentra en la mejores condiciones estéticamente hablando, pero es funcional. El personal es amable, ambas chicas que me atendieron fueron educadas, amables y muy serviciales. La hospedería tiene máquina de café disponible y por cierto es muy bueno. La habitación tiene lo necesario y cuenta con baño privado pequeño y la realidad es un poco incómodo pero funcional. Pude notar en el piso del baño moho negro que fue desagradable. El baño no cuenta con amenidades con shampoo, jabón, crema de cuerpo o acondicionador de pelo por lo que deberá tenerlo en cuenta para que lleve su propio kit de aseo personal. Durante la noche hay bastante ruido en la calle pero se resuelve cerrando la ventana en época que haga fresco. Lo encontré correcto para el precio de los hoteles de Madrid, pero tenga en consideración todo lo que he mencionado.

Las instalaciones del hotel son horribles, la contraventana de la habitación rota, no había cortinas y con la contraventana rota la luz que había no dejaba dormir. La mampara de la ducha rota y no podía cerrarla, el grifo de la ducha roto.. Las instalaciones dejan mucho que desear.

La reservación decia baño privado y lo que tenía era ducha privada, el servicio sanitario era compartido. El lugar muy viejo y con aspecto de habitación de hotel de mala muerte; la cama muy pequeña, la mesita tenía manchas que con pasarle bien un paño húmedo se quitaba. Desde muy temprano las personas del aseo haciendo ruidos y sacando cosas de las bodegas. Los recepcionistas encantadores y atentos pero el lugar no lo recomiendo.
