Gumbo Limbo Jungle Resort

3.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (104)
"This is absolutely an idyllic place to stay, we left feeling like family. It's beautiful and so small that all the guests get quite friendly as well. They have many resources and can set up anything you need, and the food and drinks are delicious. You should have a car to stay here as it's a little bit out of Georgeville and a little further from San Ignacio, but I can't imagine staying in town versus this lovely friendly place. The
pool
is a welcome addition for a dip at the end of the day!"

Kāne Villas

3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (22)
"The property is beautifull and was impecably manicured. Our private cabana had a well stocked kitchen and modern appliances (be sure to bring your own food and drinks). The screened in porch made an excellent dining area and brought the outdoors into the living area. What a GREAT place. The swimming
pool
and outdoor kitchen was clean and we practically had it all to ourselves. Absolutlely loved it. I would recommend this place to anyone with a spirit for adventure as there are many natural...

Gaia Riverlodge

3.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (188)
"Gaia was a wonderful place to enjoy the jungle side of Belize. The staff was very responsive and assisted me with transfer from Belize City and back. There was an extra charge for this service. Check in was a breeze and the rooms are very comfortable. Hector at the front desk made arrangements for tours and spa and transportation, Freddy and Demor and Darren were perfect servers and went above and beyond! The resort is lucky to have them. The space down by the waterfall for sunning, dining and...

Mariposa Jungle Lodge

3.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (21)
"What a wonderful stay!!! Our lodge (Iguana Lodge) was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, including the walking path and bird observation tower. We spent the mornings on our deck bird-watching (parrots, toucans, macaws). The
pool
was small and refreshing. Drinks were delicious (we did not eat on site, but the food smelled great). Hospitality and customer service was outstanding. "

"We had a really nice stay at Maya Mountain Lodge! The grounds are absolutely beautiful with so many plants, and the
pool
was much needed after being out exploring in the heat all day. Fiona’s Cafe had good food at reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and helped us book taxis to and from town. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay in nature, but not too far from town! "

Drift Inn Cayo

2.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (83)
"For the budget, this place was excellent. The rooms were clean, showers were hot and powerful, the grounds were pretty and included both a
pool
and a pond with pretty trees. The Drift Inn isn’t the Four Seasons but it is a good place to spend a few days. HINT: get a pina colada at the
pool
bar - they’re delicious."

Black Rock Lodge

3.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (81)
"The staff was AMAZING!! The food was some of the best food I have ever had! We had massages that were great! Enjoyed tubing (& successfully made it over the falls!), rope swing into the river, hiking & night hike. The resort scheduled all our transportation (to/from Belize City) & the ATM tour we did. We stayed 4 nights. In hind sight the only thing we would have done differently was booked a room with A/C. The humidity was brutal in May. "
