"We just returned from Blancaneaux, and we’re still thinking about the food, service, ambiance, and overall experience. It was absolutely outstanding, and I highly recommend staying here. A few things I especially loved: Everything was incredibly clean, with this beautiful indoor/outdoor feel. You are truly in the middle of the jungle, and it feels like it. They have an organic garden on site. Fresh, high-quality food is really important to me, and this was a standout. You can have complimentary coffee brought to your room in the morning. It sounds like a small detail, but it makes such a difference. If you are a runner, you can run at the nearby airstrip, which is a huge bonus. A couple of tips: If you hike to Big Rock Falls, be prepared. It is a rigorous hike and can get very slippery, especially if it has rained. Bring plenty of water. If you swim in the river or around the falls, the rocks can be extremely slippery. We found it was much better not to try to stand up on them. Overall, Blancaneaux was one of those places that really lived up to the experience we were hoping for. Beautiful setting, wonderful people, and some of the freshest food we’ve ever had."

All staff was helpful and friendly! Loved Genesis and Paula was there anytime we needed her. The pool and hot tub were beautiful! The property in itself is beautiful and natural. My bag broke when I arrived and they fixed it for me asap."

Our lodging was perfect with so many amenities including blender, toaster, refrigerator, utensils and hot plate. They even had darts and pingpong next to the pool. The food was Delicious and the chefs were so accomodating. We loved every minute of our stay. It was easy to get to Big Rock Falls which was our favorite!"

It exceeded every single expectation or hope we had.What made our stay especially memorable, though, were Elias and Betty. They were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make our time there special. Every single meal they prepared was outstandingly delish, fresh, and flavorful (and we are "foodie" people) - truly restaurant quality!! They were also incredibly accommodating with our family’s food allergies and dietary needs, created an extra special dinner for a family celebration, and took such thoughtful care of us throughout our stay.The entire experience was unforgettable, and this property was such a special part of our time in Belize. We would recommend it without hesitation and would absolutely love to return someday. Truly an amazing place!"

If traveling by bus, ask driver to drop you at Hidden Haven turnoff. Be aware the road is unpaved if walking. Its fun to meet other travelers at breakfast table! I cannot say enough great things about Green Valley Inn!"
