The property is beautiful! The restaurant is lovely. The staff are so kind and helpful. Our kids loved having an afternoon swim after touring the area! We would definitely recommend staying at Vanilla Hills :)

We stayed in a beautifully designed tree house, the pool was lovely and the restaurant and bar area were very nice. It’s overall fairly well maintained but a 10 min drive into San Ignacio (20 USD return taxi). Menu at the restaurant was good (limited for vegetarians), welcome cocktail was excellent. The hotel organised tours and transfers for us - it’s worth checking the details as there were a few mix ups. It’s expensive for a 3 star and the hotel could improve some services to make you feel like you are getting good value for money. We are comparing this to a 3 star hotel we stayed in at Caye Caulker which was exceptional all round!

The grounds were full of wildlife and beautiful! Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. Our house was spacious and fully stocked. Our family, including 3 teenagers, had a great time swimming and relaxing.

We had a fantastic stay at Vanilla Hills. Our cabin was very comfortable with awsome views out of all of the windows. The on-site restaraunt has fantastic food and we enjoyed a special tapas tasing event while we were there. We would definitely return.

A very beautiful place, nested in a tropical forest full of birds (and squirrels). The restaurant is good and the staff is nice and helpful. The chalets are large and comfortable. The swimming pool is pleasant.

This is a very special property in the jungle. The food prepared at the restaurant was superb. There was a lovely infinity pool that we were able to enjoy. (Temps were in the mid-90s) We stayed in one of the treehouses and loved it. Very well appointed. Pretty pathways throughout the property. Be sure to visit the green iguana rescue in San Ignacio. The property's location is handy for Mayan ruins and cave tours. Love this place.

We loved everything about Vanilla Hills, the treehouse was awesome the food was delicious and the staff is great. The activities we booked with their help were fantastic. The crystal cave tour with Sisco and the day trip to Tikal exceeded expectations. The whole experience was the best part of our vacation and we visited 4 other places none were as memorable as Vanilla Hills and San Ignacio.
