"Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was pretty basic, kitchenette although no tea cups, no air con, small shower and shower head was broken it dribbled water constantly so we had to leave a towel to stop the sound. The hotel is based in an extremely quiet area so if you’re looking for nightlife or a tourist area this is not the place for you! We stayed for 3 nights which in this particular area was enough. "Almost faultless in every way.Pool HP needs replacing, some new pillows and a new bread knife were the only minor points.Ketan was always there when you wanted and very helpful.Local beaches and restaurants were top notch.Sintra is magic!"

"Ralph was an amazing host with excellent timely communication. The cottage is located very close to down town Praia das Macas easy walking distance to the beach, shopping and food. There is an incredible fish market close by that will be the highlight of your trip! Everyone in town is so friendly and your stay is far from the busy Lisbon district. Overall one of the best travel experiences of our lives! We will definitely return!"

"This was so much fun staying here, we really enjoyed it!Sandra was extremely responsive and helped us a lot with planning transport ahead of the trip. She also prepared some amazing food for our arrival as well as arranging a meal one of the evenings at our request. We were three families travelling with four young children and the house was set up perfectly for our needs with plenty of ways to keep the children entertained. The only reason for the lower vote was that we found some of the local restaurants weren’t very welcoming to young families - for a group of adults I think it would be a good area to stay in."
"From the moment I arrived, the host was helpful and accommodating for an early check in. The views are breathtaking with windows directly facing the ocean. Conditions of the room were nice and the continental breakfast provided was complimentary. Perfect for taking outside to the balcony and enjoying the scenery from the 4th floor. "
"Amazing- room was fantastic with a nice little patio in the back over overseeing the ocean. Could not be nicer. Place to take walks in both directions. Room was very clean. Maria greeted us upon our arrival and was fantastic throughout our visit. Breakfast was amazing. Never had better scrambled eggs in my life. The manager also made two dinner reservations for us at very nice restaurants. Private parking, gated and safe.

"A group of 10, x2 families stayed with children from 7-12. The property is a good size and set in a very peaceful woodland area. Unfortunately the building is very tired and could benefit from some updating. The biggest issue for all adults (from 36 years - 73 years of age), was the uncomfortableness of the beds. We dreaded going to bed and would have to take a paracetamol to help us sleep, they really need replacing! The drains are also quite smelly but that is likely for more properties near Sintra. The host communicated really well and the location is ideal next to the mountains and 10 minutes to beaches so it was a shame the comfort of the house let’s this property down.The pool was also dirty for the first few days as it had not been cleaned and the filter was broken. As it was old, the children did not want to play in it so that wasn’t worth booking for. "

"Very well equipped and comfortable home in a quiet area. Good pool with sea views and not overlooked.Convenient for a walk to the village beach and restaurants or for wider exploration of the many sights.Margarida was always available for contact, responded straight away and could not have been more helpful.
