"The staff was super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. One thing to note, which is not on the hotel, is that the noise from outside did carry into the room, so earplugs are a good idea if you are a light sleeper. Luckily, the hotel has them at the desk! We would definitely consider staying here again!"
"We stayed here on the last night of midnight sun and it was a very relaxing place after staying up late and hiking awhile. Very comfortable for my family of 4 in a family room. Delicious breakfast, kind staff, bag storage, & a comfortable lobby to wait in for our ferry. The cantaloupe was very good, which is hard to do! Thanks for a wonderful experience."
"The staff were friendly and helpful and location very good. The breakfast was good as was the complimentary afternoon tea and cake and evening buffet. In fact it exceeded our expectations and saved us a lot of money as eating out is expensive in Norway.
I had not booked the basic double room but the one up and it really wasn't suitable for our 8 night stay. There was very little hanging space no drawer space,at all and a bedside table only on one side of the bed. When we made these points to the reception we were given an upgrade at no extra cost so were very satisfied in the end.
We were told the hotel was undergoing some refurbishment.
Cleaning was done every 3 days or on request.
I think most guests were there for just a couple of nights.
We had a lovely time and found the hotel excellent value for money."
"Our premium room overlooked the harbour so it was lovey to watch the boats coming & going, but was equally quiet at night.
It was central for our needs, close to port dock, Cathedral, shops & restaurants.
The room was clean but showing signs of needed maintenance worn carpets & chipped paintwork.
Plenty of choice of breakfast food,"
"Perfectly fine property. We paid low tariff for it, so we were really happy to be right on the harbor. Didn’t eat there, but it could not have been more central"
