The hotel was in a good location with a spacious room and decent breakfast. The staff was friendly. They provided coffee, cake , fruits as complementry throughout the day which was nice.

The staff were lovely, very helpful, the breakfast was nice, the beds were the most comfy I’ve ever had in a hotel, we stayed in an apartment next to the hotel and it was fantastic. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it

It was so nice to stay at this hotel. View from the window was perfect. Raining for 3 days, but was able to have a great rest.

Very convenient location in the centre of Tromsø. Bus stop for going to the airport opposite the hotel is also very convenient. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet to help you start the day with full energy. Bedroom is on the smaller side, but the beds are good enough, the bathroom with shower and toilet is fine, and a water cooker with tea bags and instant coffee is also provided.

A good hotel

The location of this hotel is excellent. It's relatively quiet despite being right in the city centre. The hotel isn't so big, so it is not very busy. Staff in the hotel is great. Can be a bit busy in the hotel restaurant at breakfast time as it is pretty small. The hotel rooms and the hotel in general definitely show its age, and this isn't the most modern of hotels. But it is cosy in its own way and works perfectly fine for me. I have now stayed at this hotel for three or four times during the last year, and I like it.

The staff were extremely friendly and answered any questions I had. The housekeeping staff were friendly and hard working. The hotel is located in a great location in the centre of Tromsø with plenty of dining options within a short walking distance. The food was great, with lots of breakfast options and free Norwegian waffles, jams, and brunost in the evening.

Good Option in Tromsø

Three night stay, reception service was excellent from the beginning to the end. The hotel is in a good location to get to tours and attractions. The freedom to sit in the lounge and have a warm drink and some cake at any time of day was also greatly appreciated. I would stay there again.

The hotel is in the central of the Tromso,so I could walk around and enjoyed shopping,eating,drinking,and sightseeing! Staffs at the hotel are all kind and helpful. Breakfast is perfect! I can drink coffee or tea anytime at the cafeteria in the hotel.

Very friendly staff, nice hotel in Tromso downtown. The breakfast room is a bit small, it was quite full on some days, and you had to wait to get a seat.

Overnight stop

We arrived super early and they offered us breakfast and to take our bags. We checked in later in the day. The room was comfortable and it had a good shower. The gulls are protected so they nest all around, but the ear plugs offered worked well. Breakfast is really good. Location right by the quay and we would definitely stay again.

Great location! The hotel is in walking distance to everything, including the pick-up spot for most reindeer sleigh ride and northern lights activities. The room and bathroom weren't anything special but were clean. The stay included breakfast, which the staff kindly let me crash early since I had an early flight to catch. As a cheaper option compared to others, I'd recommend this hotel.

Lovely

Lovely hotel. Loved the all day coffee and the 5-7pm waffle bar everyday. Such a good idea. Lovely staff and room was fine too. One little thing about it: not enough light. There were 2 small lights and no overhead big light. Since there is no sun at all, it would have been nice to be able to see in the room better than I did. But apart from that, lovely place

Brilliant staff

We booked late having had to alter our flights. Unfortunately we were too late to eat anywhere in the area but the lovely receptionist offered us cookies and coffee. Our luggage didn’t arrive with us but again the receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful this morning whilst we anxiously waited our luggage. She called us to let us know when it arrived - saving us a lot of money buying extra clothes!!
