"Nice, quirky hotel with a very warm welcome and helpful staff. The disappointment was the dinner! It was all rather over-priced with puddings at £6.95. While my seafodd pasta was lovely one in our party had an in-edible steak and a couple of people had badly-cooked aspsaragus - char-grilled and woody. We went elsewhere for dinner on the 2nd night."

"We arrived late and did not know where to check in and then discovered a sign on the door tellin us the door was unlocked and to just go in. Free breakfast was to be included in the price of the room and a card was left for us to fill out our breakfast menu choices but there was no place to leave the card and no one to collect it. In the morning I went to the front door of the main house to ask about breakfast and there was a sign on that door as well saying they would be...
