"Always a wonderful stay here in this gorgeous Georgian Hotel. Very happy to accept our mini dachshund who was able to sit with us at breakfast. Staff were friendly and hospitable as per usual. Always there for anything but not unobtrusive. My wife had a anti aging facial in the spa and felt incredibly relaxed afterwards. The Superior room was spacious and perfect for our 3 night stay. A special mention for the shower which was possibly the best I have had in the UK. Maybe its the waters in Matlock Bath. They do say they are rejuvenating."

Property is in quiet spot at back of period property. Beautiful. Tips: feather pillows - my fault didn’t ask pre booking. Internet weak. And could benefit for a bit of privacy infront of property if other guests using main house with main garden. That said, I did love the stay"
