"Selling a single uncomfortable bed with two pillows, no workspace, no AC, frequent tram noise, and a TV that would be cheap by 2010 standards for the price they do is simply unacceptable. The rooms look quite pretty and quaint, and the mini-fridge is well priced, but this does not make up for the downsides."

"I booked this hotel as it was close to train station and meeting points of my tours. The room was clean and in order. Bed was comfortable. No loud interruptions at night as it was very quiet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I booked my stay to include breakfast which did not disappoint. I had dinner at the hotel on two nights, the meals and service was excellent. As a solo traveler it was nice to have experience without any issues."

"Clean room, bed and pillows on the softer side, friendly staff, and a beautiful small pool and saunas on the rooftop. The gym is in the basement and is very basic, with one whole-body resistance training machine, one elliptical, one treadmill, one stationary bike, and one pair of dumbbells (not kidding). The hotel entrance itself is tucked away in a quieter courtyard, but the surrounding street area nearby is very busy, with people loitering around, somewhat dirty, and has a few sketchy spots and businesses. However, it’s a very convenient location, within walking distance of the U-Bahn, Munich’s main pedestrian shopping area around Stachus (10-minute walk) and Marienplatz (20-minute walk), as well as great restaurants and cafés."

"The room was very clean and quiet despite being very close to the Hauptbanhof. One can take S1 or S8 from Munich airport and you can literally walk to the hotel front in minutes. Spa facility was included in our fare. Their IsarBar makes fabulous cocktails so definitely worth it. It's walking distance to the old town, a few museums and beer gardens nearby. The only negative for me personally is that the pillows were very floppy so if you need firmer one, remember to ask the staff."
