"The hotel is ideally located to enjoy the best of Buxton. It is beautifully decorated, with a real sense of luxury. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfy. Staff were helpful and polite. My only disappointment was the breakfast service and in all truth this was completely unacceptable. It was apparent that the kitchen and service was heavily understaffed, which impacted upon the cleanliness, insufficient stocks on the buffet service and delays serving food. Most people had a 45min delay for hot breakfast, and this resulted in us and a number of other guests requesting refunds. The serving staff were very apologetic and just looked worn out and embarrassed."

"Great cottage. Has everything you need from kitchen utensils to shower gel. Lovely enclosed courtyard garden for the dogs and an additional grass area infront of courtyard garden. Lovely hosts. Always there if needed but not intrusive at all. It was lovely to watch the horses being brought in in the morning and all the other animals. This cottage has definitely got the best view ive ever seen. I really didnt want to go home. Very sunny back garden"

"End July 2026. Didn't use Spa or Amenities. Pros: Overall a good stay. Restaurant/bar food medium priced, bar drinks well priced. Premium room had whirlpool bath, very nice, Good pillows & mattress. Cons: TV in room quite old, needs time updated to BST, unable to use EPG as mainly not available. New TV would be better. Knives in restaurant & bar couldn't cut butter, need replacing. Bath surround needs mildew treating."

"The Keep at the Knight's Table is an excellent base for walking in the Peaks, with plenty of routes right from the door step. The accommodation is excellently equiped, with just about everything you could possibly need. There was some food and drink in the cupboards and fridge, including milk, tea, coffee, eggs, bread, butter, orange juice, water and cereals. The hosts are very good at what they do, with a great check-in, and then leave you alone, but on site if you need them. The views are amazing, including the Dragon's Back, which is walkable for those fit enough. I wholeheartedly recommend the Keep."

"We had a lovely time at this apartment! Carole and Alan are charming hosts, always ready to help and gave us many hints about the Peak District and the surroundings of the apartment. The apartment had anything one can imagine and I would reccommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Peak District!"

"An absolute gem of a place! This cottage has a stunning view of the Peak District and is beautifully decorated throughout. It is of the beaten track but Buxton is only a few minutes away in the car. Ideal location for exploring the Peak District with the towns of Bakewell, Matlock, Matlock Bath and Crich between 1/2 - 1 hour away. Ashford in the water is beautiful and the Ashford Arms is a wonderful place to eat."
