"Car park can be offsite (just across the road) as the spaces within the property boundaries are limited. Property itself appears a bit dated but was okay for our needs as we were mostly out exploring the island."

"The room was very spacious with high ceilings with full sets of teas, coffee, drinks and a cup of Maggie instant noodle. Cool Tivolli speaker which you can enjoy listening musics and the wide screen tv with all the channels available entertains you while you are resting in the room. Thanks Lye for the great hospitality! "

"I think some of these people leaving reviews have very high standards for budget hotels! This place is fine. The air con and WiFi worked well in my room, the bed was comfortable and the main beach is a walkable distance. The main problem is the noise from the road in front of the hotel, but it didn't keep me up at night so it wasn't that bad. This is a decent budget option."

"Pros: Friendly staff, big rooms, spacious and very clean and affordable.
Cons:There are a lot of mosquitos in the room so make sure to bring mosquito spray. Also, the bed is very very hard. All in all it is a good clean option for the price."

The room was just as pictured - and it was kept that way by the friendly staff.Looking out of the room at our private pool was better than looking at the sea - the beach was about15 minutes' walk away - with pristine white sand and clear blue water. Within that walk were eateries of every possible kind, from street food cooked over an open flame to posh hotel restaurants. Easy to get around using taxis. A return trip to the island would be to Maneh Villas.

We had never been to Malaysia before and didn't really know what to expect. This place was one of the best on cenang beach and so close to all the restaurants and pubs. Wonderful rooms and great breakfast! If you want to stay on cenang beach, this hotel is a must!

We really enjoyed our stay at Urban Hangouts. Our studio was really comfy and cozy. Staff were helpful during the check in and check out process.
Loved that we could park right infront of our studio. Note that eating options are limited in thr area.

Very impressive experiences in Ambong Ambong.
It is a very special hotel on a hill, small but comfortable. We lived in room s3, the one on top, with great ocean view. Every morning, we were waken up either by thoes fighting monkeys on roof top of our room, or by the shower rain hotting the roof top. It is a kind of feel that is far away from big modern cities, relaxable.
The staffs there are very nice and helpful. I would like to thank them again here.

Fuuka Villa is small and family owned. The room was spacious, king size bed, large bathroom with hot water, porch overlooking the pools which is not huge but a good size for the number of people that would be there even if at capacity. Tenagh beach is just over 5 minute walk, shops and restaurants are close by. Main shopping area 5-10 minutes walk. Tenagh beach is much nicer and safer than Cenang beach which is crowded with vehicles on the beach and way too many jet skis.

We were warmly greeted by staff on arrival plus received both arrival massage and drink (which was quite good). Definitely felt welcomed and on holiday the moment we step foot into the hotel. Staff was continually accommodating throughout our stay. Daily breakfast was great. All in all we had a wonderful 5 star experience.

The best area to stay in Lubok Buaya is along the main road of Jalan Pantai Chenang, particularly in the northern half closer to the Pantai Cenang beach.
This area is the heart of tourist activity in Lubok Buaya. It's very walkable and features a long stretch of shops, restaurants, and hotels directly opposite the beach. You'll find everything from local eateries to more upscale dining options, along with souvenir shops and tour operators. The beach itself is a long, sandy stretch superb for relaxation and water sports.
For couples, staying in this central Pantai Cenang area offers convenience and a pleasant atmosphere. You're steps away from romantic beachfront dinners and can easily access the Duty-Free Zone for shopping. The proximity to the beach means you can enjoy stunning sunsets without having to travel far.
Families will also find this area highly suitable due to the easy access to the beach for swimming and building sandcastles. Many establishments cater to families, and the area is generally easy to navigate with children.
When is the best time to go to Lubok Buaya?
The best time to go to Lubok Buaya is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to April.

Travellers looking for a relaxing beach holiday will find this period particularly appealing.
