Nice but could be improved
Nice place with many things to do and enjoy. Tennis, swimming, golf, kids waterpark, putt putt, volleyball. Lots to take advantage of. Hotel is near other places to dine. The massage was not great in the spa. Nothing beats a good Thai massage. The massage therapist seemed like they were in training. Such light touch. There is a Thai massage in Cessnock would be better money spent to book outside. The kids club looked so boring, I felt so bad leaving my kids there. Good for kids under 4.

This resort is amazing, I have a child with specific and serious dietary requirements and the people in charge at the buffet breakfast were very accommodating and took my concerns seriously. There was a gluten free setup / area and you can request specific requirements as the chefs cook certain meals. Joanne the team leader during breakfast assured that my son was safe and remembered us every morning. She was kind and understanding. Kendal the manager at the buffet in the evening was also amazing and kind. Everything is this resort is high quality. we loved the pool and the open bar during our stay. Many activities for children (kids club etc, play areas). we full recommend this exceptional and beautiful place for families.

Overall nice stay, enjoyed the waterpark and appreciated the kids rides. Found the room very comfortable and clean. The downstairs restaurant and the facilities were not cleaned well. The restaurants offered limited dining options and were well overpriced for what they served. The layout of the hotel meant that guests had to walk through public spaces to get to their rooms after swimming. There were no showers at the waterpark and the toilets were disgusting, making it inconvenient to enjoy the water area.

Everything was great. However, the room smelt alittle which was slightly off putting upon entering the room. Also throughout the night we heard many many foot steps and doors opening/ closing. Even at 3am. Outside of those two things, we really enjoyed our stay

Very nice place… Some TV channels froze or were hard to get, and our air conditioner dripped on the carpet most of the night! Doors squeaky and slam hard!! But an awesome A buffet breakfast!!

I believe they really have to think about bedding condition and the smell of rooms. As soon as we got in the room(219), the room was terribly smelly like mold smell and stink like feet. Even my 3 yo complained about the smell and when I checked everywhere it was from the pillows. Not just one, all the 8 pillows. And even from the mattress..I felt like there was someone who didn’t never showered for few months and lying down right next to me. Stink stink stink.. I couldn’t sleep properly.. I had to cover all the mattress and the pillows with towels so I can put down my head there. So when I asked to change the pillows, the staff changed the room and after we moved to 220, sadly it was the same so we gave up on it. I know this is not 5 star hotel but even the bed and pillow at camping cabins I visited last week wasn’t smell like that. You really need to change the pillow not just the cover washed and please..please take care of the bedding properly. My little one really loved the water park so we really want to visit again, but I can’t stand the smell anymore so I can’t come again. That is shame.. staff were noce though
