"Great stay during our visit to the area. Friendly and helpful staff, clean property, great breakfast and easy walk/drive to our destinations. Thank you! "
"Great communication and cute house. Pretty clean, but not perfect. It was more like a hostel than hotel. It was fine, but not overly impressive. I bit of a steep walk to downtown. Overall, it was fine. "

Wind-chasing kiteboarders and windsurfers dominate the Columbia River Gorge, while snow-capped Mount Hood looms majestically in the background. Nearby orchards offer 'Fruit Loop' farm stands where you can sample local pears and cherries after hiking waterfall-lined trails.
Hood River is good for being a base for several days in the beautiful Columbia River gorge - lots of hiking trails, wineries, mom and pop restaurants.

We love Hood River. The downtown area where the hotel is located has exceptional shopping and dining. The parking isn't the best but we stayed in a meter spot and it was $3.25 for 3 hours and only had to play from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Worth the visit.

I lived here before wind surfing days. The town has changed significantly. Still a beautiful area but very crowded with tourists.

Cool little town. If you haven't been, definitely worth hanging out for a couple days to eat and have fun on the river.

"We live about 3 hours from here, we decided to book a room here meeting half way to the coast, which is quite a drive. We wanted to explore the dam and fish hatchery. Really nice rooms, pool and beautiful view of the columbia river. We hope to make this a tradition stopping here."
