"The Zigzag Chalet was 5 stars all around, our goal was full family togetherness in a comfortable natural setting and the Zigzag Chalet delivered! So many fun things to do in the development, lots of easy walks to the River and visits to stunning Trillium Lake, everyone enjoyed themselves. The cabin had every single need considered and the only thing we needed to do was relax and enjoy. Our stay was a beautiful experience, thank you."

"Much more than a cabin, it's a beautiful home in the woods. The photos don't do it justice inside or out. Great attention to detail and decor. Nice amenities as well- the hot tub actually works and this is the first time we've stayed somewhere with enough Keurig pods to last our entire stay.Only an hour out of Portland and 20 minutes from Trillium Lake. We will definitely rent this home again!"

"Comfortable, spacious home with luxury appliances, everything you'd need to cook a lovely meal, and stunning windows looking out to your own private, forested area. We enjoyed morning visits from a family of deer, walks to the river, drinks on the patio, a soak in the hot tub, and star gazing at night. WiFi was strong enough for 2 of us to login and work at the same time, as needed. A few things we missed....no guest bottles of shampoo and conditioner so we had to make a grocery run right away. Only 2 camp chairs on the back patio, as the other outdoor furniture is stationed in the cozy covered fireplace hut ....perfect for winter I imagine, but not what we wanted for summer. Our youngest got creative and made a seating area out of removable outdoor cushions and blankets. Only real hiccup was check-in when the first member of our party to arrive was surprised to find a locked electronic gate with no instructions. She had to turn around and drive back to an area with cell-service to call, and drive back to park outside the property line, walk around the gate to the house to unlock the door to access the gate clicker. Once we had that, we enjoyed the security of a locked gate, but it was a bit unsettling for one of us at first. Response time to help us out was swift."

"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The kitchen had what we needed to cook meals, the remoteness allowed us to truly relax, the grill and hot tub allowed for a lovely time outside, and there's even a swing and hammock in the woods! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with friends or family."

"The property was full of things to do. Hot tub, game room and the outdoor space was amazing.Close to town if you need to pick up any extra food or a good cup of coffee or pizza. Plenty of room for a large group."

"Our visit to your beautiful home and property was truly magical! The home was very clean and comfortable, with wonderful natural light and beautiful views throughout. The home was well equipped with everything we needed for meal preparation, was perfectly laid out to allow our family members to enjoy time alone as well as time to gather together, and being able to include our family pets was a joy! The property itself, the ponds and trails, the beautiful greenery, the stunning view, is truly magical. We were lucky to have wonderful weather, and clear views of Mt Hood throughout our stay. We appreciated the positive communication with the host. Although we had no problems that needed to be addressed, we were confidant we could quickly receive assistance if anything should arise. Overall, a wonderful visit, with many special family memories made at your home. Thank you for sharing it with us! We look forward to returning to continue exploring your beautiful corner of Oregon!"
