The location is absolutely excellent, making it very easy to reach many different places and attractions. It is a perfect base for exploring the area, with plenty of destinations conveniently accessible from the hotel. Beautiful conyemporary hotel with California beach vibe, perfect location, friendly and helpful staff. A la Carte breakfast (no buffet) won't suit everyone but there are plenty of alternatives within easy walking dustance. On the downside the pool is exceptionally small, and there is significant construction at the back of the property, which isn't great if you have a room nearby.

Gorgeous room in an excellent spot with a balcony and fantastic view of the beach. Staff were lovely. Only minor issue was the volume of the DJ set on the Sat afternoon - I'm not anti loud music at all but we'd been out in the sun all morning and just fancied a chill by the pool for a while, but it was nightclub level loud (i.e. you couldn't talk to one another). Just wish someone had mentioned it to us on arrival when they saw we were travelling with kids so we could have planned around it.

Great view. Spacious room. Pool temp was key. You could stay in long term. Then the added cold plunge and spa were really nice too. Great staff. Great restaurant. My future go to in Santa Monica for sure
