"This cottage is absolutely lovely inside- it’s been renovated but kept so much of its history. The view is incredible but this comes at a cost- you share it with many tourists especially when the weather is good. it got very noisy with people standing outside the whole time and walking past the kitchen windows to the viewing deck. (Sometimes peeping in!) We also had a few nights with drunken youths till all hours of the morning making loud noises rights outside / in the beach waking up my young...

"Beautiful property in a beautiful location. The house was that nice that we wanted to stay inside to make the most of it and had to drag ourselves away. Lots to do in the area and lots of lovely places to eat. The kids enjoyed crabbing every night at the harbour and the beach is lovely! Would definitely stay again. Thank you!"

"River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. "The house is very near the harbour, which is good, but it’s a basement flat, so it’s pretty dark and you need the lights on all the time. Also, the ceilings are low and my 6ft tall husband kept forgetting and banging his head. You definitely need to book the luggage taxi as the designated car parking space is up a very steep, narrow hill. Well situated for walking the southwest coastal path."
