"Stayed here as an overnight stop after visiting friends in Market Drayton, very impressed, every aspect of our stay was perfect. Our room had been recently redecorated and was in pristine condition, good and comfortable bed, bathroom a little on the small side but perfectly fine. Nice, quiet countryside location, set in lovely grounds in a historic house in which Garibaldi stayed during his visit to Britain. Evening meal was very good, prices very reasonable; breakfast was lovely, excellent coffee. Staff all very pleasant and approachable, also made friends with the two resident cats who were adorable."

"Clean and comfortable room with enough outlets for a large group. Plenty of room, bed was excellent, and the room came equipped with many amenities laid out in an attractive manner. I was very comfortable there and will definitely use it as my home base when I visit again."

"The evening receptionist was lovely, friendly and very helpful. The bed was comfortable, the en suite was clean, there was a portable heater when it got a little cold at night. On the first night of my stay the single room I was given did not have a kettle so the receptionist changed it for a room with a kettle at no extra charge to me."
