Longridge Park Tours and Activities

Rooms very dated Needs some TLC. Thought I’d treat myself as they were $100 off regular rate but very was very disappointed. Room entrance from the verandah with no security from the road, blinds and curtains broken or falling apart. People can see into your room as they walk past. You need a tech degree to work the tv - it took me an hour just yo finds how to watch the basic tv channels. No one at reception to help despite ringing the bell several times. The lonely barmaid said she didn’t know where the receptionist was. Not one patron in the restaurant, bar or lobby. Bathroom only ok - shower is in the bath. No controller for the air conditioner/ heat pump and radiator has no thermostat. Won’t be going back here.

Staff were great. Amenities were shown to us personally. The room was lovely. Dinner was fantastic and the breakfast before leaving topped off our stay perfectly. The grounds are amazing with great views of lake Rotorua. Very intimate hotel.
