A broken bedframe!

I cannot recommend this property. One bed had a spring sticking out of it, another had a broken frame. A broken bedframe! It was impossible to sleep. The shades were transparent so the apartment was bright all night. It was very loud, as it's at a major intersection. It was also tiny and hard to fit more than one person in the hall at a time. I canceled one night and even though both hotels.com and the property agreed that I should be refunded the night since it was within the free cancellation window, I never got the refund. The only thing good about it was that it was close to the Tube so we could get around easily.

Great location, dingy place

The location can't be beat, and I was staying there for that. The room itself is poor, and the owners could do a better job of cleaning the kitchenette. The entranceway was awful. When I couldn't open the door to the room because the key was super fiddly, I was about 30 seconds away from calling a friend and asking to sleep on her couch. Once I was in, it was alright. Fairly quiet despite being on a busy street. Shower kept changing its mind about the temperature it wanted to be, but it worked. The bed was comfortable, although the super-furry blanket on top was a bit over the top.

Not a hotel

This property is an Air B&B that is dual listed on Hotels.com. I picked up and dropped off the keys from a connivence store down the block. That’s fine if I was expecting an Air B&B but not what I expect from Hotels.com. The room was unbearably hot but opening the windows wasn’t an option because the traffic noise (sirens, honking, motorbikes revving) goes on for 24 hours a day. I ended up buying a fan. On the plus side, it is very spacious by London standards and the kitchen was very serviceable.
