"Tucked away on a private road in Little Compton, the astounding ocean front view is just beyond a well-kept emerald green lawn. Quiet and peaceful, you can access the rocky beach from a staircase, or enjoy the setting from the park bench at the top of the wall. Stargazing is excellent here. The house is well equipped with everything you might need. The owners are quick to answer any questions and very hospitable. We had a wonderful end of summer holiday with our adult children."

"The house is in a quiet residential side of the larger Newport area. There are restaurants, coffee shops, etc. that are walking distance. Grocery store is a short, easy drive. The wharf and Newport activities such as Cliff Walk will require driving. There is off street parking should you decide to get a rental car."

"The property was clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet area with beautiful gardens. The house was equipped with the basics plus a few extras, like a furnished patio with grill, large screen tv (larger than I am used to), access to a local beach that seems to be popular for fishing, and close proximity to the tourist attractions in Newport. The host was very communicative and responded to questions promptly. My dogs enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, and seeing the wild turkeys on their daily stroll. If you want to walk your dog at night, best to bring a flashlight as there are no street lights nearby. All in all, my family had a wonderful stay at the cottage and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay with pets."

"This is a beautiful spot and right on the water as described but I think they need a new cleaning crew as it was a bit dirty and to invest in some new sheets, pillows and mattresses as none of the beds were comfortable. The deck was great but since it’s next to the marina at times it was smelly and loud and there were lots of flies. We had great beach fires next to the water and loved the beach walk at Loyds. With a little investment it could be fabulous"

"Great cozy cottage just a few minutes from Newport and great beaches. Lori was very responsive and a perfect host. We enjoyed how quiet the property was especially at night. Air conditioners kept the cottage comfortable and the front porch was a great spot for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. We will be returning to Lori’s property in the future!!"
