We never saw a singular member of staff other than the cleaner who was cleaning our room. This made us feel unsafe. I was staying with my 13 year old daughter. The room smelled very strongly on air freshener which was very unpleasant. Had I known that the property was un-staffed I would not have booked there. I did call in advance of our visit, but they did not pick up. I also left a voice message and sent emails and didn't receive a reply. They did sent text messages but it couldn't have felt less welcoming.

We loved the character and charm of the Hamilton Hoppin House. We had never stayed anywhere like this place before. Lilli emailed and texted us check in instructions the day of our stay and they were very easy to follow. Our room was beautiful and we felt very safe and comfortable staying here!

This is a beautiful historic mansion that has been lovingly preserved. We felt like we’d stepped back in time! Our room was lovely and the common areas on the first floor of the home were spectacular. It’s in a quiet part of town just over the border from Newport. We had a wonderful stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and elegant, it made me feel like I went back in time. Our suite was very comfortable and spacious. The wine glasses that were left in the room were a nice added touch. We enjoyed sitting in the music room and relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.
