"Absolutely amazing, great location, nice and peaceful. Host made sure that me and my friend are happy with everything and she was available if we needed anything. We had a lovely welcome gift ( Prosseco, chocolates and delicious Welsh cakes), the hot tub was warm and ready for us on arrival. "The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. The cottage owner was friendly and accommodating. She prepared freshly baked scones, milk, coffee, tea, sugar ready on our arrival. She checked on us as well twice to make sure we’re okay. Quay Hotel and Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Friendly staff apart from the weekend maître d who I think was practicing his Lily Savage routine with the guests. Always an excellent breakfast with very efficient staff. Plenty of parking and lovely rooms. Unfortunately the lunchtime bar and evening restaurant menus have gone a bit too gastro IMO, which is odd considering the average age of the clientele."

"All excellent except dogs permitted indoors. I agree with assistance dogs but 2 of my travelling companions have had adverse experiences with dogs. One was bitten by a family pet the other chased down the street by a Rottweiler that had escaped through a fence. Given that neither of those attacks were reported there must be more than double the 24,000 annual reported attacks. In addition hygiene can be an issue if dogs go into food serving areas! Since the pandemic there has been a proliferation of dog friendly places!"

"Very nice hotel that I will return to on my next visit to Caernarfon. Lots of on site parking, and very friendly and helpful staff on reception. I arrived at the same time as a coach party, but the reception staff made sure I didn't have to wait. The room was very clean with lots of space and a good sized clean bathroom. It took a while to work out the light switches to turn on the bathroom light without all the other lights, but not a huge problem. Excellent hotel that I would recommend to friends and family."

"Hotel was very busy with a wedding reception during my short stay so I didn't visit any of the hotels amenities. My room was good with a very welcome bath, but when you lifted the loo seat it wouldn't stay so I had to hold it due to the sh3lf above the lavortory. Breakfast was good but the person in charge was slightly over the top in her welcome, insisting on telling me how breakfast service operates, which I didn't need. She then served me the smallest coffee pot available."
