The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything required for our stay. Breakfast was good, and the available parking was very convenient. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of finding a small Bible in the drawer.Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly return."

"The breakfast arrangement and facility leaves much to be desired and well below expectation for a prime Bala Hotel. Poor quality bacon However, value for money is good in a hotel screening for modernisation in bedroom furniture which is well dated into the last century. You get what you pay for. I would love to see this hotel living up to modern expectations."

"Booked our stay at the Royal Victoria Hotel for the purpose of hiking up Snowden. This was a great choice as the hotels location was ideal, being a few hundred yards from the start of the Llanberis path. The hotel itself was very clean, staff super friendly, and the room met our needs. Car parking wasn't a problem as the car park has ample space, and as previously mentioned, is a stone throw from the start of the path we would take to the summit. Eating was good, choice of the restaurant or simply eat in the bar area with all the usual choices you'd expect, fish and chips, steak, pies or vegetarian options. Buffet style breakfast served from 7am, with plenty of choices to suit most people. Overall really happy with our stay, and will be returning in the future. A defiant for hikers or even folk wanting a quiet scenic get away, recommended!"

"I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and I can honestly say that the staff were the best I have ever experienced. The room was lovely, clean and well decorated although needed more storage for clothes and bathroom toiletries. Some thought needs to go into the access to the disabled room as the paintwork is likely to be scratched by wheelchairs and walkers trying to get through the door to the two end rooms (particularly for clients without helpers) which would be a shame. The food was excellent for every meal with interesting and very tasty meals. Ample parking spaces and bus stops outside made for easy travelling."

"Our third stay there, and there's no negatives from us. We were on third floor which gave us great view of beach and sea, but stairs could cause you a problem if you have mobility issues. Great breakfast and they're happy to juggle the menu if needed (gluten free friendly). All the staff polite, friendly and helpful. And the icing on the cake is the parking within yards. Will be back!!"

"Excellent breakfast to set you up for the day. The evening menu is a bit limited if you don't like Indian. We missed the small size meals which were suitable for older people. Very clean bedrooms and communal areas. Staff very helpful. Stayed here many times. Our favorite place in Criccieth."
