"The room was quite small, but the location made up for it! A 5 minute, walk to the tower and so many restaurants. The staff was amazing and helped us figure out transportation back to the train station. Lots of touristy shops nearby. We would definitely stay there again."

"The staff were super friendly and nice, and the room was clean, though the furniture felt a bit dated. There weren't any 220V sockets near the bed. The bed was comfy, and it's a 19-minute walk to the train station and 5 to the supermarket."

"This expansive property is clean and well maintained. I must give credit to whoever designed the grounds; which contain lush green plants and trees, many levels for relaxed seating, and multiple statues and ornaments. The view of the sea is breathtaking. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub, but they were beautiful and inviting. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were wonderful and the breakfasts and dinners were tasty and fresh. We didn’t have a car, so our travels were limited, but we enjoyed our short walks around the charming and off-the-beaten-track town of Quercianella."

"Great hotel, easy to walk to Pisa centre. Staff were either v helpful at check in ( a young lady, sorry I did not get her name) , or to lazy to help us later when room key to our room would not work , the gentleman on reception had my 69year old husband going up and down 3 times to get it fixed, blamimg us!! Eventually he reluctantly came upstairs on my husbands insistance + agreed the fault was on their side, no apology given at all! V poor service. As we were leaving early a takeaway breakfast was supplied , which was great."

"Great location and perfect for the night. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area and all very walkable. Slight communication failure on wanting to drop our bags off early but happy we didn’t as it looks to have been in an insecure office anyway. We got a taxi from the train station but bus back which was quick and cheap (just buy your ticket before)"

You'll find that popular attractions are less busy than in the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience.Summer (July and August) is Livorno's peak season, with hot weather and average temperatures often exceeding 30°C. While this is great for beach holidays, the city can be crowded, and accommodation prices tend to be higher. Many locals also take their holidays during August, so some smaller shops or restaurants might have reduced hours.Winter (November to April) brings cooler temperatures, typically ranging from 8°C to 15°C, and more rainfall. While it's a quieter time to visit, some outdoor activities might be limited, and the general ambience is less lively.
