The location is perfect! Easy walking distance to the main square and all of the downtown sites and shopping. The staff was superb! A special thanks to Ana! The hotel is highly recommended and is a genuine jewel for those who stay in Lisbon

Good sized room and good breakfast. Further away from canals and centre than expected but close to train and bus station. Kettle and tea or coffee making facilities in the room would have improved our stay.

What a great place to stay. Excellent service by all staff members & location was great as you could get to lots of the touristy places without having to endure the steep streets on the way back to the hotel. Room was excellent and included all toiletries needed and unlike the majority of the hotels we stayed in in Lisbon, the TV actually worked. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed 3 nights in a “Superior Double Room” This is an overall GOOD property IF you temper your expectations!!! Given that this is located in a busy city in Europe, the room will be small. You are certainly paying for location over comfort and amenities. The good: safe area, convenient access to everything you need and the tourist areas, overall clean and comfortable. A nice touch was a radio system with speakers in the wall/ceiling. The reason that we rate 4/5: The room is very small. No real place to store luggage for 2 people. And we only had 2 smaller roller bags and 2 backpacks. This was bothersome because some of the space was taken up by a fridge, which is a nice amenity usually, but this fridge is only for selling the customer convenience items. Only 1 easily used electrical outlet available. The biggest complaint as a couple: the glass walled bathroom. Sure, there was some frost on the windows, but there were gaps between the glass panes… Nothing screams romance on a couples trip like enjoying the sounds and scents of your significant other on the toilet. Also, there is very little room in the shower and no real usable space for toiletries on the sink countertops. TL;DR: good hotel if you do not mind having minimal toilet privacy.

Room 414, AC and TV did not work in all our staying, Shower door broke down last day. 1st day No Phone, We spend 4 nights swetting (I ended up with migraines), I requested to be changed to another room, I was told hotel was full no room was available, I was told technician will come to check AC and TV right on the 2nd day. We've just returned from a stay at this hotel location is brilliant, we booked room only but had breakfast in the hotel just one morning which was average, the room was clean a bit dark. Reception staff were friendly and extremely helpful I would certainly recommend this hotel.

I loved the historical look and feel of the hotel. The front desk help could not have been more helpful and informative. And the room, could not have been more perfect, except for one disappointing fact, because it was already November, they had already placed controls with the A/C across the hotel, so that it wouldn't sufficiently cool the room. Sadly, it was warm outside that day of my stay, and sleeping was not the most comfortable. Luckily, I was only there one night. If you are taking a cruise, it is walking distance to the port, and to all kinds of venues from restaurants to shopping.

We stayed in the Turim Terreiro do Paço Hotel for three nights as a long weekend break. Right from check in (with Filip) service was fabulous. Everything was explained to us and if we wanted to visit anywhere we were given options and advice. The room was a good size, very clean and internally quiet. There was street noise from the trams sometimes though but the windows were all double glazed. It was great to have a kettle in the room so us Brits could have a cup of tea! I would have liked power sockets on both sides of the bed and also the option to use stairs other than as a fire escape, sometimes it's too much effort to wait for a lift and stairs are an environmentally friendly option. The breakfasts were very good with a large selection of both hot and cold dishes. Service at breakfast was excellent and attentive. The location of the hotel was fabulous, other than the Belem area we were able to walk to every attraction we wanted to see. There are also plenty of dining options within 5 minutes walk and the whole area is clean and well looked after. In short, great location and great service.

The room was "Pretty" but not functionable. The sake was on the floor and you had to get on your knees to use. The Bath vanity was toooo small, no place to put anything. The shower "Rain Head" could swing to the outside of the shower and the whole bath would get flooded.

Was a mixed stay. Good location. Lovely staff. Comfortable bed. Some shortcomings though. I had room 504 and my friend 508 - both executive single rooms. Room 504 had nowhere to sit - all the other rooms had a chair (the executive and the normal rooms). There were little things missing - no spoon to stir coffee and cream into coffee. No soap dish to place soap on to. The biggest problem I had was the speakers in the corridor playing very loud ‘muzac’ throughout the night on my second nights’ stay. After trying to ignore it, I called the Reception about 1am. He checked the system and said that it was all showing normal, and remotely checked that the neighbouring rooms weren’t playing the muzac. He apologised that there was no more he could do. I tried to ignore it but the bass was pumping into my bedroom. I took some video clips to show how loud the corridor speakers were and went down to Reception about 2am. Once he heard how loud the speakers in the corridor were, he came up to the 5th floor to have a look. He thought it was a technical issue, and tried to look at something in a service corridor, but he couldn’t stop it. He found a remedy though and gave me an alternative room to sleep in - 319. It was peaceful in there. The other issue was that the self serve coffee machine was not dispensing coffee correctly on both days. Both days, this was resolved - once by a waiter fiddling inside the machine, and today by another waiter making a cappuccino on a proper machine.

TURIM hotel is well located and is very clean. The bed was comfy and the room was cleaned expertly. I would have given TURIM a higher rating but our room was facing the windows of an apartment block. For the price we paid, we would expect a better view. When we asked to change rooms (twice) but we’re told none were available.

Room was clean and comfortable..a little on the small side but that is typical of a lot of European hotels. Like other reviews stated the AC was poor. It was low 80s and the room was too warm..especially at night when trying to sleep. couldn't imagine staying here if it was hot and the middle of summer
