"Room with box bathroom in corner smelled damp, probably because regulation extraction fan in was not working and probably never had as string tied up as when fitted. The bed had a 6 cm foam mattress on a solid wood box base so very uncomfortable to sit on never mind sleep on, but still appeared to sag in middle. No reception, 2 flights of stairs and main door left open, so less than secure. Unsafe and unhealthy."

"We spent a fantastic holiday in Belesta with Andrew and Babara. The tastefully furnished flat is fully equipped and as good as new. We were particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the flat. In addition to our own small terrace, we had access to the large garden with pool and plenty of seating. Andrew and Barbara are attentive and helpful hosts. Belesta is an ideal starting point for activities such as cycling and hiking. There are also many excursion destinations. We would love to come...

"The apartment was great - in an excellent location close to shops and restaurants in the village square and within easy walking distance from the old city. The apartment itself had everything we needed and included a nice private balcony which added to the ambience. We would definately choose to stay again if we are back in Carcassonne. "Appartement très joli, mais comme dit au propriétaire très humide le soir malgré la chaleur de la journée, le wi-fi est pas terrible car pas de réseau( appels) et la lumière de la fenêtre peut être mettre des rideaux occultant car le matin on est levé de bonheur. "I booked this hotel at the last minute and was extremely pleased with my choice. The hotel lobby was large, clean, and inviting, and the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Our room was large and clean, and the bathroom sparkled. The accommodation was excellent! The downside however was the restaurant. Our dinners were expensive, bland, and the choices were limited at the buffet counter. The service was good, which helped mitigate an otherwise negative experience. I highly recommend this hotel, but would suggest dining elsewhere. "
