"The remodel whenever it was done was done very, very well. I would recommend this facility without reservations. There is a comment about breakfast, but there is no breakfast. There are health bars, coffee, tea, juice if you count that is breakfast. As I said above, I would not hesitate to recommend this facility."

"This is just the sweetest place, nestled into a cliffside, south of Big Sur. Miles from any amenities, and with no one to greet you when you arrive, the owners nevertheless make checking in a breeze and even have the wit to provide an extra key in the lockbox in case you lock yourself out. In the morning, a "breakfast nook" opens at 8:30am so you can have a muffin and fruit and juice with the coffee you've made in the room. Ocean views are spectacular, even if you don't have an ocean view room, since you can walk up the trail to enjoy the sea. A real find. I've passed through Lucia dozens of times and always wondered what it would be like to stay there. Now I know. On this trip, it was the perfect stop."
