A lovely historic building on the edge of the old town, in very easy walking distance of museum, cafes and restaurants. The rooms were quiet, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the staff were kind and welcoming. A most enjoyable stay

For the price (50 EUR p double room excl b/f) excellent value for a good business/conference-style hotel. Location is a bit isolated, miles away from the town, but just a stone's throw from the motorway - i.e. very convenient for drivers who, like us, have come a long way (700 km from Vienna) and want something easy to find, park and just relax, before moving on (in our case Buchenwald and on to Erfurt). For visiting Weimar itself, there are much better located hotels.
