"TERRIBLE a NIGHTMARE No lights did no work for 2 days an nobody helped No power the switches did not work did no shower in 2 days the water Pomp did nor work because of no power. Need a refund immediately The unit itself veey nice. But the power ruined the whole stay. No lights in 2 days!!

Das Appartement Gaia ist auf 2 Stockwerken, welche mit einem Lift verbunden wären. Dieser hat während meinem Aufenthalt leider nicht funktioniert. Daher habe ich den 2. Stock jeweils über das Treppenhaus erreicht.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm und sie haben mir immer sehr schnell geantwortet.
Das Appartement verfügte über zwei Badezimmer und Duschen.
Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass die Zimmer eher dunkel sind, da...
"torn Design apartment is a great period property kept in a really good condition. Easy access to ferry and few restaurants in the town. Very nice friendly locals around in this area. Little café at the top next to the bus stop is really good. They had some amazing pastries and biscuits selection.
Area is very quite at in the evening except for the square where you will see lots of locals and the tourists near the restaurants and bars.

"We initially chose Carate Urio b/c of its location midway between Como and Lenno, which were the venues for a weekend wedding celebration we attended. As it turned out, staying at Sans Souci was itself a highlight of our 7-day stay. Both the dining/living area and the spacious bedroom downstairs offered lovely views across the lake. And since our hosts themselves live in the small house during the winter months, the place is fully furnished with appliances, comfortable chairs inside and out, and a wall full of books in multiple languages. Brunella and Giovanni were most helpful in mapping out routes to drive and suggesting restaurants, museums and villas to visit in the area. Despite the 30 or so steps required to reach the house from the designated parking lot down the hill, we 70-year-olds felt like youngsters coming and going to the local lakefront! A marvelous way to experience Lake Como, with gracious hosts who respected our privacy while always being available to answer any questions. Highly recommended!"

"Mara was a wonderful host that met us to show us our home away from home. Super clean and sparkly. Outdoor patio viewing the lake was beautiful and the moon light was glistening off the lake was a welcome treat.Close walkable market perfect for picnic, pizza with outdoor patio over cliff with a stellar 180 degree lake view is a must stop. The little beach accessible by stone stairs was a lovely little view point and worth the time to explore. Thanks Mara for a perfect visit! "

"My family loved staying here so much! The staff at the hotel and restaurant were all very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We also ate lunch and dinner here a few times, and it was also great. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance as we did not rent a car. They can help set up hotel transfers, and I’d highly recommend you do this option. We had room 202 next to the pool. This is such a special place. Book before they raise their prices, because they absolutely should. Great amenities (spa with sauna and hot tub, gym, pool, lounge area with games/books, accessible boat dock, etc). "We stayed at Robert's wonderful home for five nights. Robert is a great communicator and if you need anything, he's on top of it. Franco is Robert's representative who will check you in and you will definitely need Franco and his cart. If you are going to be driving, make sure you check with Robert on the size of the car, as Robert provided valuable advice on the size of the car that will fit into his garage. Without Franco’s professional parking services, parking never would have happened. Limited parking options available.Great restaurant below, they sells bus tickets to Como and Bellagio. Staff is great too.House is in impeccable condition. Great views on the terrace as the pictures show.Great place, I'll bring my daughter back next year. Thank you Robert. Bruce and Jennifer."
